Pupils' Response 7 - Reading is Good and Fun

I think the school gets the pupils to read every morning because the school want pupils to develop reading as their hobby. I don't like it because if I forget to bring my book I will get scolded. I like reading because I find it very interesting. I like to read books that have pictures. I think reading will help me with my school work because it help me
improved my grammar. I think the school can encourage pupils to read more books by upgrading the school library. The book I recommend is "Machines Rule", my favourite topic is In The Air. The author Steve Parker.I like to his books because it tell me what machines can do and what make them move.

Pupils' Response 6 - Using A Personal Computer To Do Your Schoolwork

The advantages of using a personal computer are
1.you can do reseach
2.you can email
3.you can hear songs in your computer.
4.you can see videos in your computer.
5.you can use microsoft powerpoint to do presentations.


The disadvantages of using a personal computer are
1.your computer may get hang and your data will be lost
2.your enemy may blackmail you
3.you must wait for your computer to load.

Pupils' Response 5 - Outside School Activities

The activities I am involved in outside school from Monday to Sunday are tuition and swimming .I have tuition at thomsom plaza and swimming at my Condo swimming pool.I have tuition and swimming once a week.I spent 1 hour on swimming and 2 hour on tuition.I am in involved in swimming and tuition because my parent want me to go.I think it is necessary for me to have swimming and tuition because swimming help me kept fit and tuition help me widen my knowledge.I think these activities will not affect your school work or studies.I don't feel stressed with all these activities.I think pupils should be involved in outside school activities because it will help them more.

Pupils' Response 4 - Passion For Learning

I understand that passion for learning means having a love for learning..I think it is necessary for people to have a passion for learning.Albert enstein had passion for learning for science. He show his love for learning when he do reseach.I have a passion for learning for science but not mother tongue.I find science very interesting while I find mother tongue very boring.I can develop my passion for learning by cuting down on my televison show time and spent it on studies.

Pupils' Response 3 - Setting Targets

The purpose of setting targets is to help motivate pupils. I think it is useful as it can help pupils. I go about setting targets by looking at my p2 results.I
achieve my targets by reading beyond my textbooks.My parents help me achieve my targets by helping me with my homework.I motivate myself by buying myself a toy when I achieve my targets.I think my teacher/the school can help me achieve the targets by giving out rewards.

Pupils' Response 2 - Our Festivals in Singapore

I celebrated Chinese New Year because I am a Chinese.Chinese New Year is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is often called the Lunar New Year . I celebrate Chinese New Year by visiting our relatives. Malay celebrated hari raya,Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. All Muslims except the young, old or infirm must fast.I think the celebration of the various festivals is to help people of the various races to understand each other better. I think singapore can develop stronger bonds among the various races in Singapore by celebrating the various festivals together.

Pupils' Response 1 - School's Vision, Mission and Value

The School's Vision is 'a school of disinction nurturing future citizen of character'.The school values is 'passion for learning,integrity our foundation and excellence in everything we do'. The school's mission is 'providing quality education to equip pupils with the values, knowledge and skills for 21st century'.

I think the School's Vision, Mission and Value can develop pupils with many skills and knowledge. I believe in the School's Vision, Mission and Value, they guide me to study better. Students do not think of the school values when engaging in activities in school or outside. They behave without discipline. I live out to the school values by respecting them.

I think the teachers can organise some games and quizes about School's values in class and in school to help students learn the values.

what will I defend

I would defend clean air. air pollution make people fall sick. When people burn things, they pollute the air. To prevent air polluion we should not burn things in the open.

I would defend greenery and forest. Many people cut down the trees in the forest to make furnitures and to make way for houses. If we cut down all the tree in the forest, we will destroy the homeland of the animals and plants.
