Pupils Response 20 - Graciousness

the meaning of 'graciousness' is kindness. Act of graciousness are giving up seat to someone else. Acts of graciousness that I have personally done is sharing seat with someone else. I think we should be gracious to one another because if we don't we would always fight. I think Singaporeans are generally gracious because they help one and other. we can make Anderson pupils more gracious by putting on show, that show why we should be gracious. I like the 'Magical Dust of Kindness' project because it encourage Anderson pupils to be more gracious. i have benefited to say Magical word more often from this project.

I discern if the content on the Internet is inappropriate by asking myself is the content asking me to hurt myself or other. if the content on the Internet is inappropriate i would tell my parent.

A rotor is the rotating part of a helicopter which generates an aerodynamic Lift (force). propeller is a type of fan which transmits power by converting rotational motion into thrust. It can be used to drive an aircraft ship, or the fluid within a pump. It consists of one or more blades about a central shaft and operates like a rotating screw or wing. A pressure difference between the forward and rear surfaces of the airfoil-shaped blade is produced and air or water accelerated behind the blade. Eyes are organs that detect light, and send signals along the optic nerve to the visual and other areas of the brain. Complex optical systems with resolving power have come in ten fundamentally different forms, and 96% of animal species possess a complex optical system. Image-resolving eyes are present in cnidaria, molluscs, chordates, annelids and arthropods.
The simplest "eyes", such as those in unicellular organisms, do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark, which is sufficient for the entrainment of circadian rhythms. From more complex eyes, retinal photosensitive ganglion cells send signals along the retinohypothalamic tract to the suprachiasmatic nuclei to effect circadian adjustment.

Pupils' Response 19 - Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils

I think of the school's preventive measures for H1N1 such as temperature-taking, no assembly in the hall, cancellation of remedial lessons, CCA and other activities is helping in prevent the spread of h1n1. the cancellation of activities have not affected me. I think the school is less interesting now because we are not allow to go to many parts of the the school. i study during my free time. my activities outside school are not affected.

Eagles are large birds of prey which are members of the bird family Accipitridae, and belong to several genera which are not necessarily closely related to each other. Most of the more than 60 species occur in Eurasia and Africa. Outside this area, just two species (the Bald and Golden Eagles) can be found in the USA and Canada, nine more in Central and South America, and three in Australia.
Eagles are differentiated from other birds of prey mainly by their larger size, more powerful build, and heavier head and bill. Even the smallest eagles, like the Booted Eagle (which is comparable in size to a Common Buzzard or Red-tailed Hawk), have relatively longer and more evenly broad wings, and more direct, faster flight. Most eagles are larger than any other raptors apart from the vultures. The species called eagle can range in size from the Spilornis serpent-eagles, which typically weigh about 500 grams (1.1 pounds) and measure 45 cm (18 in), to the 6.5-kg, 1-meter Harpy Eagle, though the Philippine Eagle and the Steller's Sea-Eagle are of similar size.
Like all birds of prey, eagles have very large powerful hooked beaks for tearing flesh from their prey, strong muscular legs, and powerful talons claws. They also have extremely keen eyesight which enables them to spot potential prey from a very long distance. This keen eyesight is primarily contributed by their extremely large pupils which cause minimal diffraction (scattering) of the incoming light.
Eagles build their nests, called eyries, in tall trees or on high cliffs. Many species lay two eggs, but the older, larger chick frequently kills its younger sibling once it has hatched.

A fox is an animal belonging to any one of about 27 species (of which only 12 actually belong to the Vulpes genus, or 'true foxes') of small to medium-sized canids, characterized by possessing a long, narrow snout, and a bushy tail, or brush. By far the most common and widespread species of fox is the red fox (Vulpes vulpes), although various species are found on almost every continent. The presence of fox-like carnivores all over the globe has led to their appearance in both popular culture and folklore.In the wild foxes can live for up to 10 years, but most foxes only live for 2 to 3 years due to hunting, road accidents and diseases. Birds (class Aves) are winged, bipedal, endothermic (warm-blooded), vertebrate animals that lay eggs. There are around 10,000 living species, making them the most numerous tetrapod vertebrates. They inhabit ecosystems across the globe, from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Birds range in size from the 5 cm (2 in) Bee Hummingbird to the 2.7 m (8 ft 10 in) Ostrich. Arachnids

Arachnids are a class (Arachnida) of joint-legged invertebrate animals in the subphylum Chelicerata. All arachnids have eight legs, although in some species the front pair may convert to a sensory function. Arachnids are chiefly terrestrial arachnids, but are also found in freshwater and, with the exception of the pelagic zone, in all marine environments. They comprise over 100,000 named species, including spiders, scorpions, harvestmen, ticks, and mites.It is commonly understood that arachnids have four pairs of legs, and that arachnids may be easily distinguished from insects by this fact (insects have six legs or three pairs). Arachnids are further distinguished by the fact they have no antennae and no wings. Their body is organized into two tagma called the prosoma, or cephalothorax, and the opisthosoma, or abdomen. The cephalothorax (prosoma) is derived from the fusion of the cephalon (head) and the thorax. The abdomen (opisthosoma) can be further divided into the preabdomen and postabdomen in many taxa, although in some orders such as the Acari the abdominal sections are fused.
Arachnids are mostly carnivorous, feeding on the pre-digested bodies of insects and other small animals. Only in the harvestmen and among mites, such as the house dust mite, is there ingestion of solid food particles and thus exposure to internal parasites , althougth it is not unusual for spiders to eat their own silk. Several groups are largely venomous — they secrete venom from specialized glands to kill prey or enemies. Several mites are parasites, some of which are carriers of disease. Pupils' Response 18 - SA1 Results

I think the SA1 papers have tested me fairly. I consider all the paper to be a fair test. I think the papers have been a fair or unfair test by whether what I had been tested. I think you have not done well in this semester because I fail my Chinese. tuition has not been very useful in improving your results because I pass in p2 and fail in p3. I would word harder and cut down on television time to improve on your results after SA1.

Influenza A H1N1 is an infectious disease. Influenza can also be spread by bird droppings, saliva, nasal secretions, feces and blood. there about 3 countries in Asia with people with Influenza A H1N1. countries try to prevent the spread of this disease by taking temperature. taking of temperature is effective in preventing Influenza A H1N1 because it can help to find who got H1N1.
